MCAD

The IT industry has been demanding a certification tailored to developers who implement functional specifications and design, deploy, and maintain MS Windows or internet based web applications. The Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) certification program has been created to fill this niche and is an important step on the way to obtaining one's MCSD designation.

The MCAD is designed for IT professionals who design, develop, and maintain medium-scale applications, data services, web clients, application components, desktop interfaces, etc. The candidate's job role ranges over a wide area, including everything from building and deploying solutions to specifying and implementing requirements.

Most MCAD candidates have no less than one or two years of related experience. You will need to pass two core exams and at least one specialization elective exam of your choosing.
